Pierce Group Benefits provides employee benefits administration to over 150,000 public sector employees in North Carolina and Virginia. We currently have an available position for a part-time Accounting Assistant. Specifics for this position include responsibility for a wide range of day-to-day accounting duties which include assisting with A/P, A/R, vendor invoice processing, check requests, reconcile vendor statements and provide miscellaneous accounting assistance to the Finance Manager.
Requirements include familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures, competency in MS Office with proficiency in MS Excel, accuracy and attention to detail and QuickBooks experience required.
