Health, Dental, Vision – Please contact your Benefits Department within 30 days of your date of hire.
All Other Benefits – Please contact the Pierce Group Service Center within 30 days of your date of hire. The service center number is located at the bottom of this microsite.

Important Information About Your Enrollment
IN-PERSON & SELF-ENROLL
During your open enrollment period, a PGB Benefits Representative will be available by appointment to meet with you one-on-one to help you evaluate your benefits based on your individual and family needs, answer any questions you may have, and assist you in the enrollment process. If you prefer, you may also self-enroll online following the instructions on the Enrollment Instructions page of this site.
OPEN ENROLLMENT PERIOD: AUGUST 1, 2024 – AUGUST 15, 2024
YOU CAN MAKE THE FOLLOWING BENEFIT ELECTIONS DURING THE OPEN ENROLLMENT PERIOD:
– Enroll/Re-Enroll in Flexible Spending Accounts.⁺
– Enroll, change, or cancel your Vision Insurance (Stand-Alone Policy).*
– Enroll, change, or cancel your Colonial Insurance Coverage.
– Enroll in, change, or cancel The Local Choice (Health, Dental, and Vision).**
⁺You will need to re-enroll in the Flexible Spending Accounts if you want them to continue each year.
*Westmoreland County Public Schools will pay the Employee Only portion for each tier of Superior Vision benefits for
employees that waive medical coverage and provide proof of coverage elsewhere.
**The Local Choice Benefits are not available for self-enrollment. You will need to meet with a Benefits Representative in order to sign up or make changes to these benefits.
